ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

• BS minimum, MS or PhD preferred in Engineering or Physics

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• 10+ years relevant work experience leading a global team of 20+ engineers.

• 3 years project management experience leading new product introduction teams.

Desired:

• Demonstrated understanding of Analog electronics and/or RF disciplines.

• Experience implementing Engineering Design Processes in a global team.

• 15 years relevant industrial experience.

• Proven ability to lead through leaders.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally.

• Demonstrated project leadership skills.

• Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills.

• Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others.

• Excellent communication, influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives.

• Proven LEAN skills.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the company's engineering team of over 90 people globally.

• This is a role that has tremendous growth opportunity for you as a leader as you set the future vision and direction for Coils Engineering.

• Define and implement the fundamental Quality System for Design Controls and Design Transfers.

• Grow the team by over 40% while mentoring them to grow into a world class organization.

• Be a key player working closely with the Operations and QA teams in fundamentally overhauling the overall Quality Management System for the business.
