ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
- BS minimum, MS or PhD preferred in Engineering or Physics
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 10+ years relevant work experience leading a global team of 20+ engineers.
- 3 years project management experience leading new product introduction teams.
Desired:
- Demonstrated understanding of Analog electronics and/or RF disciplines.
- Experience implementing Engineering Design Processes in a global team.
- 15 years relevant industrial experience.
- Proven ability to lead through leaders.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated project leadership skills.
- Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills.
- Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others.
- Excellent communication, influencing skills and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the company's engineering team of over 90 people globally.
- This is a role that has tremendous growth opportunity for you as a leader as you set the future vision and direction for Coils Engineering.
- Define and implement the fundamental Quality System for Design Controls and Design Transfers.
- Grow the team by over 40% while mentoring them to grow into a world class organization.
- Be a key player working closely with the Operations and QA teams in fundamentally overhauling the overall Quality Management System for the business.
